We will have: Balloon Artist Mark from Ultimate Party, Face Painting by Ruth of Tiny Tiger Designs, activities for the kids, a visit from Solon Firetruck (unless there is an emergency) and pizza and snacks! This event is FREE for all interested families and current SECPTA members so please register so we know how many to expect.

Join other SECPTA members at the JHBB Field Station at Hiram College for a nature program! You‘ll have the opportunity to move around stations to observe, create and explore. There will be a nature touch table, live animals, crafts, a story corner and other activities. The animal display area will be open, and families are welcome to walk our gardens and/or trails after the nature program!

"An Awesome Unstructured Playground Adventure" - The goal of Discovery Park is to provide a safe learning environment that offers opportunities for children to learn cooperation, develop critical thinking and creativity, meet physical challenges and gain self confidence. This is nature play at its best, there are so many areas (3+ acres!!) for the kids to discover and play, such as Tadpole hole, Pedal train, Digger‘s Creek Mining (gemstone ore packages are an optional, additional charge), Shipwreck Lagoon, and a full size fire truck! Let‘s visit a local apple orchard and welcome in Fall! The tour will include apple and grape picking and showing everyone the operations of the farm. Each tour is about an hour long and is for kids ages 3-6. The orchard is open for picking so you are welcome to stay and pick apples on your own, play on the playground or enjoy the orchard.

Join us for a stroller friendly walk on a paved loop through Acacia Reservation. Meet up at the picnic tables behind the Clubhousethe next to the main parking lot on Cedar Road. Coffee and snacks will be provided before the walk. Enjoy a walk, and stay afterward to play in the open green area. Acacia Reservation, a 155-acre green space oasis, is located in the City of Lyndhurst. The west branch of Euclid Creek flows northwest through Acacia Reservation to join the main creek branch in Euclid Creek Reservation. A 1.7-mile paved loop trail is located in the Reservation.

Join us at South Chagrin Reservation with Georgia the Naturalist to explore nature as we transition into the season of fall. What is changing around us? Who can we expect to see? We will use all 5 senses to experience the first few days of fall and meet a few friends along the way. We will start with a short hike and end the program with a live animal meet-and-greet. Meet at the Sulphur Springs Picnic area. Bundle up and wear shoes that work well in muddy and slippery conditions. Older siblings are welcome to join!
