In collaboration with Solon Center of the Arts (SCA), we will be offering a monthly Friday class featuring a focus. If there is a lot of interest a second session may be added immediately following. This month: THEATER - This class will introduce your little ones to the stage as we explore the basic fundamentals of theater. Students will play theater games that explore using their voices, bodies and imaginations to create stories and have fun! Students will explore songs, games and more as we play together in the world of Theater. For ages 3-5.

All aboard! Join us for an hour and a half exciting train ride through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park where we will read train and other themed books, sing songs, listen to stories, and create an art project, all while riding the rails. The theme of this unforgettable journey through our beautiful National Park is "Oink, Moo, Neigh!" The train will depart the Peninsula Depot promptly at 9:30am, but we are asked to be there by 9am to begin boarding. You will be sitting in assigned seats at tables of four with other SECPTA members and tickets will be printed and handed out prior to the event. All passengers ages 3 and up need a ticket. Children 2 and under do not need a ticket but must sit on a parent‘s or guardian‘s lap throughout the trip. We are limited to 10 children and 10 adults for this trip. **This is a ticketed event, no refunds will be given for cancellations unless another member on waitlist is able to purchase the ticket.**

Join Mouse on a daring adventure through the deep, dark wood in Tall Stories’ magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book. Searching for hazelnuts, Mouse meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the party mad Snake. Will the story of the terrifying Gruffalo save Mouse from ending up as dinner for these hungry woodland creatures? Bring the family to see the Cleveland Monsters Hockey game! It is Family day with special food discount for kids and we have a special fan experience - Benchwarmers: First 15 kids to sign up will get a chance to go down onto the players box before the game starts! Little Leapers is a fun, high-energy play adventure, created for parents and little ones to enjoy together. You‘ll love watching your child bounce, climb, and explore in a safe environment, without the interruption of big kids. All jumpers must be 6 and under, and allowed to have 1 parent/guardian accompany them on the courts while jumping, any extra people can be spectators. All guests, including non-jumpers, are required to wear Sky Socks, these can either be reused from a previous visit or purchased on site for around $3 a pair. Please complete the online waiver at skyzone.com/bostonheights for all participants prior to start of event. Guests encouraged to arrive at 9:15 am to allow sufficient time to check in.
Please join us for our Coffee Club with wonderful SECPTA friends. Coffee Club is a great way to meet other parents and converse over coffee and food while your child is engaged in social play with new friends! There is no fee for this club, so just stop on over to enjoy the conversation, coffee, food, and crafts for the little ones! Calling all good citizens! The PAW Patrol is yelping for help as they face their greatest challenge yet. Mayor Humdinger has dognapped Robo Dog and cloned him, causing chaos all over the world. It’s up to the pups to catch those clones, rescue Robo-Dog and show that when the going gets “ruff,” lending a paw makes you the ultimate TOP HERO! **This is a ticketed event, no refunds will be given for cancellations unless another member on waitlist is able to purchase the ticket.**
SECPTA Prom: Live DJ, Raffles, Dancing, Dinner, BYOB**
Join this private SECPTA workout class with a certified personal trainer to encourage you to challenge yourself during the 45-minute Camp. Every class starts with a dynamic warm-up to help you perform safely and effectively through your entire workout. Camp will end with a powerful and purposeful finisher, designed to leave you feeling accomplished and challenged. Solon Rec Center Classroom
Join us at the Solon Rec Center for a St. Patrick‘s Day Celebration Class with Bake to Learn. Chef Beth will incorporate age appropriate learning (counting, patterns, colors, and more) into decorating, and also offer tips and tricks for practicing academic goals while baking with kids. Each participant will receive 6 cookies to decorate and bring home.
Play Day Cafe is a mega-sized indoor playground that brings a modern approach to children’s fitness through active play. The 5 active play areas include a multi-level playground, toddler playground, ball blaster zone, wiggle track, and indoor floor game. Everyone, including babies in carriers and strollers, non-participating adults, and older siblings, require a ticket and all attendees must wear socks.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure that can help save a person‘s life if their breathing or heart stops. This course is ideal for those interested in CPR/learning how to save a life and those who do not need a CPR course completion card to meet a job requirement. Taught by a nurse, this American Heart Association-based course will cover Adult and Child CPR and AED, Infant CPR and how to help someone choking. Women are less likely than men to receive CPR from bystanders, and by becoming informed on how to perform CPR, you can help change that if an emergency arises. Refreshments will be provided to all attendees!

Come join us for 45 minutes to an hour of music, dance and musical instruments. This class is for children ages 2-5. Younger siblings for those registered can participate and are free. Let‘s get those wiggles out!

Join us for our monthly meeting, find out more about SECPTA and our happenings, mingle with current members, and listen to a presenter. Food and childcare provided. Active Members that attend the meeting get PRIORITY event registration following the meeting!!
Let‘s visit one of the area‘s newest alpaca farms! Established in 2022, this farm is home to over 30 friendly and furry alpacas and a handful of miniature goats who love visitors! We will get a tour from the alpaca farmer himself where we will learn all about the alpacas. We will also get to ring the farm bell, see the duck and goose enclosure, play on the playground, explore an enchanted fairy garden, and spend a fun afternoon feeding and petting the animals! This is a private, SECPTA-only event so we will have the place to ourselves to play and explore after the farm tour is complete. All visitors who will be walking around need to register, infants in carriers and strollers are free. Grandparents and extended family members are also welcome to attend, but please only one car per family as parking is limited. Please bundle up, wear boots, and dress for the weather, we will be outside most of the time!
Join us at Storybook Yoga for an interactive story based yoga class designed just for our SECPTA kids! Each class incorporates common yoga poses and movement into a fun story, fostering creative thinking, a love for reading, and helps to grow vocabulary. Each session includes an age appropriate craft. Yoga mats are provided. Please dress comfortably and bring water!
Come jump with us at Lake County‘s biggest bounce house! The Jump Yard is an indoor play place that has plenty of fun activities for the kids including four giant inflatable play structures, an infant/toddler area for kids 3 years and under, an interactive floor projector with a variety of games, and a concession stand featuring delicious treats and healthy snacks! Kids under 12 years old are welcome but must be over 36 inches tall to play on the bounce houses. Socks are required for all visitors (regular socks are fine!). Adults and babies under one year of age are free. **This is a ticketed event, no refunds will be given for cancellations after Monday, March 20 unless another member on waitlist is able to purchase the ticket.**
Spend the day exploring the many parts of the Natural History Museum from the Human Origins Gallery to the Perkins Wildlife Center. No visit would be complete without a visit to the Smead Discovery Center on the lower floor for hands on exploration. Please arrive around 10am so you can receive the group ticket rate. Parking is available in Natural History Museum Garage ($10 for first two and a half hours), at meters on Wade Oval or other garages within walking distance at other museums in University Circle.
Join SECPTA for an afternoon at Chuck E Cheese! Each child will receive a 2 hour all you can play card, 2 slices of pizza, and a beverage.
